HItler Poem!!

Liz Ring
Hitler Poem
6, February 2008

In the morning, boarding the train
You sit and wait
As the trains trail down the tracks
Whoosh, Whoosh, Toot, Toot
You get off and wonder,
No idea where you are
Only hoping that you are going somewhere better,
A man grabs at you with all his strength,
You hear screams that cry out like a baby wanting to be held
The smoke from buildings accumulating in the air,
People working like ants for their food
Cries from women who need their husbands,
Babies who need their mothers.
Is it cries in the night or is it all in your head.

Best movie ever essay!

movie essay

Sophomore English

True everybody has preferences for what type of movie they like. Movies are scary, funny, sad, or even about real life events. Many people even like to watch movies and eat popcorn. Movies are good for people young and old. "Spun" is the best movie ever simply because it is trippy. "Spun" shows the reality of how the drug world can affect people young and old.
It turns your world upside down yet is realistic. As well the movie spins like taking one on a rollercoaster of life also it is trippy how crazy the people around eachother can be when under the influence of drugs. The movie twists and makes life seem to go a lot faster than what it should. "Spun" shows the way that drugs can affect relationships and how drugs can cause one to go into poverty.

"Spun" shows the true meanings of life through realistic ways of living. Drugs and relationships are showing their true colors when the audience sees how people will give up a boyfriend or girlfriend for drugs and money to get drugs. Poverty follows along with people running out of money to keep their drugs in their life.
In addition to everything else that goes on in this movie it brings everything in your face. It is unpredictable aside from being sometimes a little hard to follow. There are turning points in the movie that shock the viewer to no end. Money is a big factor that one never knows when the people will run out and need more drugs. The realistic characters and their actions are what makes the movie great.

This movie also shows all the true feelings people have on drugs, and it also shows that meth obviously has more effect on people than they think. So please do not hold back when it is seen on the shelves. It will take the viewer on an unbelievable ride through trippy places and wack language. "Spun" shows the true story of how these people survived and the genuine sadness of how people have to get away from drugs. "Spun" is an unreal movie because one really does not know how it will end or what will happen. It has an authentic story behind it because these are young people who are doing this. "Spun" is serious with the fact of how meth affects people. It is unknown at the end whether everybody lives and how they manage. It is uncanning that people would want to do this to themselves.

Lottery Paragraph

The Lottery

Sophmore English

September 9, 2007

I am writing a wack paragraph on “The Lottery”, I am going to talk to you about the crazy culture, the unreal choosing, and the insane traditions, from the story of “The Lottery.” The culture of this story is the way of life what the living of people is all about. The choosing is all about the black box and the slips of paper chosen from it. This represents the black dot death. The tradition is all about the sacrifice of a person for growth in crops. This death is represented by stoning a person to death or the sacrificing of a person for the cultures well being. This story is all about the crazy urbanity of habits and drawings.
